How to Connect with Nature as a SAHM with ADHD (Even When You Hate It)

Episode 009 Show Notes

Hey mama, do you ever find yourself longing to be outside, surrounded by nature and fresh air, but just can’t seem to find the time or motivation to actually make it happen? I know I do! But here’s the thing, getting outside and immersing ourselves in nature can work wonders for our well-being and mental health.

That’s why in this episode of Mothering Together, I had the pleasure of sitting down with local nature-lover, Jocelyn. We chatted about all the things that hold us back from getting outside (hello, post-partum anxiety and lack of motivation), and shared some practical tips and tricks for making it happen.

Jocelyn also shared some amazing insights on the benefits of being in nature, and we talked about some of the incredible programs and opportunities available through the Nature Skills Cooperative. Trust me, after listening to this episode, you’ll be itching to get your boots on and hit the trails!

Books mentioned during today’s show: Sapiens and The Turquoise Table
